I was contracted to create a flyer for a client going by the name of Robert whose business is based in Ipswich. The process I had to take to ensure I got this project was send a proposal for the design and some samples of my work then the contractor would decide if I was suitable for the role. As you can see from the designs I was picked to do the work and I undertook the task like I would undertake every design task by putting 100% into what I was doing and trying to produce something new and different.
When talking to the client the impression I got was he wanted a very smart and business like flyer created for his wedding car company that would not only appeal to him and the company but appeal to people out there who were also interested in using the company to hire a wedding car. From that brief chat I then went away and conducted my research into weddings and wedding car companies and collected up some very useful ideas. The final design I came up with was to have the flyer use a real image on the front with a black see through box holding the information about the company, and then on the back of the flyer I used a cream colour with a paper effect look to make it look a bit different. I also added information about the company on the back of the flyer and also added an image of a bride and groom to give it the wedding feel it needed.
The client was more than happy with the print designs and said that is was something really different and exciting and fitted in with their company really well. You will also find everything you see on the flyer has been created by me as I like to make everything I design my own so its unique to me and the client. The software I used to create this flyer was Adobe Photoshop and the client has also provided me with a reference for this design work.
