Football Factory was a website I created in December of 2011 to get back into designing websites for my own personal use rather than it being for a client. I decided to do a football site as I myself are into my sports and I haven’t done a football website before so I thought I would give it ago. The layout and colour scheme I have used is a little different from what I normally do but I thought it would be a good idea to try something different to show people my design skills can be stretched even further. The colours I used for this site are as follows, a gradient of gold and cream for the background, red for the links and banner, a green football pitch for the main banner, black for the header and footer, and the colour black for the main text.
To get to this stage of making the site I did a bit of research into the subject area and also looked at different websites to see what was out there already and I came across a few that gave me some ideas in what I was going to do for my site. After I had came to the conclusion of what design idea I was going to work on I put my ideas into Adobe Photoshop and came up with the designs that are shown in the links below.
I am very pleased with the outcome of this design and I am happy that I undertook this challenge upon myself. If you would like to view the screen shots for this site then please feel free to click the link under this text and a light box window will appear showing my designs.
