I was contracted to create a Logo for a client going by the name of Tom Berry whose business is based in Wombourne near Wolverhampton. The process I had to take to ensure I got this project was to send a proposal for the design and some samples of my work then the contractor would decide if I was suitable for the role. As you can see from the designs I was picked to do the work and I undertook the task like I would undertake every design task by putting 100% into it.
When I got talking to the client I got the impression that they wanted a Logo that would look very professional and stand out from other drone logos that they had seen in their area. The design that they wanted on the logo would be the same design that was used on the flyer for Omni Home Logo. However this time the client wanted a different colour scheme and these new colours were blue, and red. So from this information I went away and looked at the ideas that the client had brought along with them and I also did a bit of my own research into drone logos and any information I could find regarding drones to ensure that what I was doing was going to match up to whatthe client wanted.
The final design I came up with was a logo that was slightly similar to the Omni Home logo but instead of using the colour scheme green and purple I used red and blue. I also changed the image of the house on the Omni Home logo to a Drone which I drew using Adobe Photoshop. Over all I am more than happy with the final design and would like to do more a lot more logos.
The client was really happy with the final design and has given me a really nice reference to tell people what he thought of the Logo. This will be available in my paper-based portfolio and on my website. The software I used to create the flyer was Adobe Photoshop.
