Martin Banner's Photography Logo
I was contracted to create a logo for a client going by the name of Martin whose business is based in Worcester. The process I had to take to ensure I got this project was to send a proposal for the design and some samples of my work then the contractor would decide if I was suitable for the role. As you can see from the designs I was picked to do the work and I undertook the task like I would undertake every design task by putting 100% into what I was doing and trying to produce something new and different.

When talking to the client the impression I got was he wanted a logo that was fresh and modern because he was a recent college leaver who was looking to build up his own photography business. When discussing the look of the logo he mentioned to me that he wanted to have a logo that was similar to something he had seen online but for the colours to change and the look to change slightly because he didn’t want it exactly the same. So from this information I went away and conducted some research into more photography logos and found some that matched the description of what the client wanted and that helped me decide what I was going to do. The final design I came up with was to do what the client wanted and designed a logo similar to what they wanted with the use of different colours and a slight little twist to camera lens used. I myself was really happy with the outcome of this logo and I would defiantly like to do something like this again.

The client was really happy with the final logo design and said that is was something really different and fitted in with their company really well. You will also find the design of this logo has been created by me as I like to make everything I design my own so its unique to me and the client. The software I used to create this logo was Adobe Photoshop and the client has also provided me with a reference for this design work.
