Photo Restoration
I was contracted to do a Photo Restoration piece for a client going by the name of Helen who is based Wolverhampton. The process I had to take to ensure I got this project was send a proposal for the design and some samples of my work then the contractor would decide if I was suitable for the role. As you can see from the image below I was picked to do the work and I undertook the task like I would undertake every design task by putting 100% into what I was doing and trying to produce something new and different.

The client wanted me to restore an old picture they had of their Mother which was a bit worn out when I received it. So from receiving that picture I went away and scanned it into the computer and started using tools such as the clone tool, and the airbrush tool to bring the photo back to life. The time it took me to bring this picture back to life was a few hours and I have to say I am very pleased with the outcome of the picture and how much better it looks after bringing it back to life.

The software I used to restore this photograph was Adobe Photoshop. If you would like to view the image then please feel free to click on the link at the bottom of this text and a light box will appear showing the restoration that I did. The feedback form from this person is in my paper-based portfolio, and will be available on request. However I have now added a section to this website called testimonials which is placed within the portfolio sections of this website and you will need to click on the link to get to what has been said about me from each client that I have done work for.
