I was contracted to create a flyer for a client going by the name of Gemma whose business is based in Staffordshire. The process I had to take to ensure I got this project was to send a proposal for the design and some samples of my work then the contractor would decide if I was suitable for the role. As you can see from the designs I was picked to do the work and I undertook the task like I would undertake every design task by putting 100% into what I was doing and trying to produce something new and different.
When talking to the client the impression I got was she wanted a flyer that had a professional and clean look as she was in the process of setting up her own business. When discussing the look of the flyer she didn’t really know what she wanted but knew that she wanted to use one of her images on the flyer and make it a focal point. So from this information I went away and conducted some research into more photography flyers and found some that matched the description of what the client wanted and that helped me decide what I was going to do. The final design I came up with was to use a black and pink theme but do what the client wanted and have one of her images as the main focal point. I myself was really happy with the outcome of this flyer and I would defiantly like to do something like this again.
The client was really happy with the final flyer design and said that she couldn’t have asked for anything better. You will also find the design of this flyer has been created by me as I like to make everything I design my own so its unique to me and the client. The software I used to create this flyer was Adobe Photoshop and the client has also provided me with a reference for this design work.
