Pure Food Rationing was a print piece I made for my end of year World War II commission piece for a local Secondary School. The poster was made to show my work I had created when I did the actual program. I wasn’t asked as part of my assignment to make this poster but I thought it would be good for me to have this poster in my webfolio and paper based portfolio to show my print skills.
The design and colour scheme I used for this poster are the same colours and designs that I used for the program. I kept the background image the same as the one in the rationing shop and I also kept my agent I used on the main designs on the poster because I felt it would grab the eye of someone who wanted to buy my product. I placed the screen shots of my program on the poster just to show people visually what I had made for the secondary school. Again I kept the text on the poster to explain what the program was about and again used engaging words to try and entice people into playing my World War II Rationing game.
I believe I did a good job on this poster and I was very pleased with the outcome and pleased that I have been able to try out new things and learn new skills. The software I used to create this poster was Adobe Photoshop. If you would like to view these items then please feel free to click on the link at the bottom of this text and a light box will appear showing the designs that I have created.
