I was contracted to create a flyer for a client going by the name of Paul who’s business is based in Coventry. The process I had to take to ensure I got this project was send a proposal for the design and some samples of my work then the contractor would decide if I was suitable for the role. As you can see from the designs I was picked to do the work and I undertook the task like I would undertake every design task by putting 100% into what I was doing and trying to produce something new and different.
The client wanted to have a flyer that would look professional and appeal to people who were interested in body art and wanted to get a tattoo done for themselves. For this project the client said that it can appeal to any gender but there would be an age restriction because people under a certain age couldn’t get a tattoo done by him. Once I had got all the relevant information I could then go away and put some design ideas together and as you can see this is the final design I came too. To get to this stage I chose to use the colours blue and white and have some art and tattoo effect elements on the flyer also so it stood out from anything else that I had come across. I was very pleased with the outcome of this flyer and again the client was easy to work with and listened to all my ideas and allowed me to get on with the task in hand.
The software I used to create the flyer was Adobe Photoshop. If you would like to view the flyer then please feel free to click on the link at the bottom of this text and a light box will appear showing the designs that I have created. The feedback form from this person is in my paper-based portfolio, and will be available on request. However I have now added a section to this website called testimonials which is placed within the portfolio sections of this website and you will need to click on the link to get to what has been said about me from each client that I have done work for.
