Wedding Poster
I was contracted to create a poster for a client going by the name of Tom Currie. The process I had to take to ensure I got this project was to send a proposal for the design and some samples of my work then the contractor would decide if I was suitable for the role. As you can see from the designs I was picked to do the work and I undertook the task like I would undertake every design task by putting 100% into it.

When I got talking to the client I got the impression that they wanted a poster that would symbolise the couple and their wedding day. The client had no ideas of what they wanted and asked me if I could produce a couple of designs of what I thought would be acceptable. So from this information I went away and conducted a bit of research into wedding posters and weddings in general.

The final design I came up with was a comic strip effect poster which would show cartoon images of the couple and a short cartoon script that would symbolise them and their wedding. I was really happy with the outcome of this poster and the client thought it was the best one out of the couple that i had created.

The client was really happy with the final design and has given me a really nice reference to tell people what he thought of the flyer, which will be available in my paper-based portfolio and on my website. The software I used to create the flyer was Adobe Photoshop.
